Dr. Travis,
I just wanted to write you and thank you for most
definitely the greatest experience of my life to date. Your
beach house could not have been any nicer, and have a more
beautiful surrounding. Your property, in my opinion, was
probably the greatest part of Negril to watch the beautiful
sunsets everynight. I don't know if you knew we were down
there to see some friends of ours play in a band?
But they did three shows down there and had probably close
to three hundred people total that made the trek down to
Negril. We had friends staying anywhere from the cliffs, to
the beaches, and even some of the nicer villas, and I have to
say that you have the best property in all of Negril!! The
band actually stayed with you a couple of few years back when
they were down there, and they also had nothing but kind words
to say about your place and your staff. I would like to also
commend you on the excellent job you have done staffing your
place with some of the most friendly Jamaicans down there. Now
we weren't the most organized group around, but your staff
definitely made things easier for us for our entire trip.
Pauline and Sweetie cooked us up some of the best meals we had
the entire time down there and Jobe was nothing but friendly
to us and our friends that came to visit. Straw was always
there with a smile for us and to tell us some of the local
history in the area and about parts of his old neighborhood.
We will difinitely have to be a little more organized as a
group next time for our furture visits in order to fully
appreciate everything your staff has to offer (like i was
saying we were a little bit unorganized).
Anyways, I also would like to know if it is possible for us
to arrange something like this again through you. I am not a
hundred percent sure as to whether or not our friends will
make this an annual excursion down there, but we are going to
try and push for it! They played down there two years ago and
had to cancel last years trip, but I am hoping that it will
continue as an annual event for us. Now I can get a heads up
on the next trip before pretty much anyone, but the band
members themselves, and wanted to know if there is anyway
possible that if we could pull this off annually, could we
rent your beautiful beach house from you again and try and
make it an annual event for our little group by staying at
your place? I could give you a heads up well ahead of time,
and send in the deposit even before that if we could do this
on an annual basis? I don't know if you get regular groups
that come down there and stay with you, or how long you even
book your place ahead of time. If you could give me any kind
of info, and if we could work something out as to letting us
stay there every time our friends play down there we would
appreciate it more then you could ever imagine. After being
down there I couldn't imagine staying at any other place in
Negril. As for next year, I will need a little time to find
out if our friends are going to do this annually or not, but
if they do it next year they will most likely do it every
year. Now I would probably need about a month or so to find
out for sure, but I would like to know if we could get some
kind of hold on it every year that they do come down. And like
I said if they do it next year they probably will do it every
year, and we could pay our deposit to hold the place pretty
much every year immediately after each trip. If you could let
me know if this is possible at all I would greatly appreciate
it, and once again on behalf of myself and the entire group of
people that I traveled with, I would like to thank you for an
experience like no other!! Thank you.
